My now-husband and I rented the entire resort for our family and friends to stay with us for the destination wedding of our dreams! We had our wedding reception back at the resort and it worked out perfectly. The whole week was incredibly relaxing and perfect for what we were trying to accomplish. We stayed in suite 8 and used it as the main gathering place due to the large amount of space in the kitchen/living room. Can't beat those views, either! It was so great that everyone was together but had their own space, too. The kids were in the pool from sun up to sundown almost every day! We are already trying to find a way to bring everyone back for another long stay. We can't recommend the Rod and Reel enough for giving us the best place to start our new lives together!

We love the Rod and Reel , our favorite private resort for our little family. Rooms are very clean and I am OCD So I am tough when comes to cleaning, But most important the staff are very respectful and wonderful host, treating you always with love. Location is great just a short walk to the best beach in South Florida so you don’t have to deal with parking in Ana Maria. I will stay every week there if possible :)

We stayed in suite 4 for one week and transitioned to suite 7 for a second week. The move was smooth. The palm tree garden decor of the lughted swimming pool and spa central area was delightful. The included beach equipment was great fun. The rooms were beautifully decorated and clean and the staff was very available and helpful. This was our sixth year of vacationing in rental properties on Anna Maria Island and this was definitely our best year yet.

My husband booked the Rod and Reel as a surprise 20th Wedding Anniversary trip for the two of us. I can't begin to describe how absolutely awesome this resort is, so clean and just immaculate. The amenities are just out of this world. Perfect for a family trip....We are already planning another trip to this resort at the end of May! And maybe back for our winter trip in December.
The resort was quiet and private....can't wait to get back.
The staff was outstanding!!!

This was our third stay at R & RR and it has yet to disappoint! It's all about the quality and ambience of the property. It's also very comforting to know that anytime we've had an issue or question that property manager Ty was always there to handle it. Thanks again to you Ty, and of course to Suzanne. :)
