Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the rod and reel resort but I do have a few comments that could have improved our stay. First, let me thank Ty for his prompt service to all of our needs. My first comment is that the set up of the bedrooms was not clear in the description...we did not realize we had to walk through the first bedroom to get to the 2nd bedroom....awkward for 2 couples as opposed to a family. Next...the king size bedroom needed some hooks or "over the door" hangers so we could hang bathrobes or other articles of clothing. We had no closet so it was difficult to keep the room neat. We definitely enjoyed having the facilities to cook a few meals but were lacking simple utensils and potholders. Also, the throw rug in the living room needed to be cleaned or replaced. A few simple things would have made your rating a 5. The pool, hot tub, and grounds ...including the concrete ping pong table were great!! A little TLC to the bicycles like new handles and a good cleaning of the seats was greatly needed. It was great to have beach chairs, kayaks, and paddle boards to enjoy and the location is superb.

This was our third stay at R & RR and it has yet to disappoint! It's all about the quality and ambience of the property. It's also very comforting to know that anytime we've had an issue or question that property manager Ty was always there to handle it. Thanks again to you Ty, and of course to Suzanne. :)

My Husband & I were asked to join a group of friends last June and we almost had the entire resort for our group alone. One couple in the group has stayed many times and the rest of us were new to this paradise. I fell in love viewing the suites on the website and I immediately contacted Suzette to book. She is just a breath of fresh air to work with. Very sweet, pleasant & patient with my thousand questions as my Husband would say LOL. She will do everything she can to accommodate and is very thorough in covering every detail needed from arrival, during your stay and the check out process. When she said she would be emailing all the confirmation details over that we discussed, she definitely wasn’t kidding. Everything there on one page and I was so thankful. Upon our arrival we were greeted with a big friendly smile from Ty who happened to be out front when our car dropped us off. You definitely need to say hello if you see him around the property. He goes above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. Our suite was bigger than what we needed but it worked out perfect. It was decorated so bright, everything so nice, very clean which is always a worry. We will be coming back in 2023 to celebrate our 50th Birthday’s and are so looking forward to sharing this amazing resort with our Family & Friends. No place we would rather go to celebrate but RRR. My husband booked the Rod and Reel as a surprise 20th Wedding Anniversary trip for the two of us. I can't begin to describe how absolutely awesome this resort is, so clean and just immaculate. The amenities are just out of this world. Perfect for a family trip....We are already planning another trip to this resort at the end of May! And maybe back for our winter trip in December. The resort was quiet and private....can't wait to get back. The staff was outstanding!!!
