This was our 4th stay in Suite 8 and we're going back again later this month, and are planning to return next year. The Rod & Reel Resort is incredible - beautiful, quiet, relaxing, so close to the water and next to the entertaining Rod & Reel Pier. It's nice to have bikes, kayaks and paddle boards included to avoid the hassle of renting them from elsewhere. They even have beach toys onsite for the kids.
We've met so many friendly guests from all over the US at this small, intimate 8 room resort. We wholeheartedly recommend staying here whether with family, friends or just as a couple.

The Rod and Reel Resort is an amazing resort that is both simple and uniquely private. We enjoyed our stay. Suzette was great to work with and very good with her communication. We like that the resort is small and has a private feel. We also liked how the bikes and paddle boards were basically serve yourself with no hassle to use whenever we wanted. We will stay here again and recommend the resort to friends as well. It is the perfect little hide away on Anna Marie Island

My parents stayed at this resort to celebrate their anniversary and birthday. We did not personally stay here, but we called and spoke with Suzette, the owner, to arrange a little welcome gift for them. She went above and beyond, to personally go to a local restaurant to pick up a bottle of wine, a gift card, and a card for them. She even included a complimentary gift. If that wasn't enough, she emailed us a photo of the gift set up for them in the room. Suzette was lovely and pleasant to work with and went above and beyond to help us make our parents stay memorable. We couldn't thank her enough.

This was our first time to Anna Maria and the resort made our experience absolutely amazing. Ty (property manager) was very heplful with any questions or concerns we had. The owner is very responsive. Cant say enough about the location and amenities. Room was great for our family of 5! Great sunrises and sunsets. Took the kayaks out to watch sunset over bean point. Beach toys, paddleboards, bikes, hot tub, ping pong and pool were a big hit with our kids. Great food at the rod and reel restaurant. Whats not to love about this place!!!! Book it and you wont regret it!
