We are so lucky we found this gem of a property! Our kids LOVE the beach and this resort was absolutely perfect! The room and entire place was super clean and the kids loved the huge pool! The rod and reel pier was very convenient-we didn’t even have to leave the entire weekend nor did we want to! We met Ty who was was super nice and helpful answering all our questions in between keeping the beach and grounds clean. We will definitely be back as we have already been searching our calendars for dates for our next beach trip to Rod and Reel Resort! Thank you so much!

The old Rod & Reel was great! But the new Rod &Reel, was all around beautiful, unbelievably outstanding!! The property manager, Ty! We never had experienced that warm & incredible hospitality! Amazing!

This was our 4th stay in Suite 8 and we're going back again later this month, and are planning to return next year. The Rod & Reel Resort is incredible - beautiful, quiet, relaxing, so close to the water and next to the entertaining Rod & Reel Pier. It's nice to have bikes, kayaks and paddle boards included to avoid the hassle of renting them from elsewhere. They even have beach toys onsite for the kids.
We've met so many friendly guests from all over the US at this small, intimate 8 room resort. We wholeheartedly recommend staying here whether with family, friends or just as a couple.

This was our first trip to Rod and Reel Resort and Anna Maria Island. We could not be happier with our stay at the resort. Everything is first class, with only 8 rooms is it such a relaxing and quiet place. The Resort Manager, Ty, was great! Very personable and always helpful when we asked questions or needed anything. This was our first time to Anna Maria and the resort made our experience absolutely amazing. Ty (property manager) was very heplful with any questions or concerns we had. The owner is very responsive. Cant say enough about the location and amenities. Room was great for our family of 5! Great sunrises and sunsets. Took the kayaks out to watch sunset over bean point. Beach toys, paddleboards, bikes, hot tub, ping pong and pool were a big hit with our kids. Great food at the rod and reel restaurant. Whats not to love about this place!!!! Book it and you wont regret it!
