Suzette pays attention to every detail to ensure an amazing vacation! The location is absolutely perfect for this wonder-full resort. Breathtaking views in every direction. Easy access to the Rod and Reel pier for the best fishing, ice cold draft beer and some delicious food choices as well. Beautiful large size saltwater pool and spa, along with some perfect areas for games, relaxing and enjoying the outside tranquility. Don't hesitate - book this one today!!

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the rod and reel resort but I do have a few comments that could have improved our stay. First, let me thank Ty for his prompt service to all of our needs. My first comment is that the set up of the bedrooms was not clear in the description...we did not realize we had to walk through the first bedroom to get to the 2nd bedroom....awkward for 2 couples as opposed to a family. Next...the king size bedroom needed some hooks or "over the door" hangers so we could hang bathrobes or other articles of clothing. We had no closet so it was difficult to keep the room neat. We definitely enjoyed having the facilities to cook a few meals but were lacking simple utensils and potholders. Also, the throw rug in the living room needed to be cleaned or replaced. A few simple things would have made your rating a 5. The pool, hot tub, and grounds ...including the concrete ping pong table were great!! A little TLC to the bicycles like new handles and a good cleaning of the seats was greatly needed. It was great to have beach chairs, kayaks, and paddle boards to enjoy and the location is superb.

LOVE THIS PLACE. We had a fabulous stay (again) even though there was wind and rain with the approaching hurricane ----still felt like we were in paradise! We rode bikes, paddle boarded, kayaked, played ping pong and corn home. Pool and hot tub are wonderful and the landscaping is beautiful. Staff members great. My favorite spot is the covered comfy seating with perfect ocean views. Cannot wait to come for a third visit!! THANK YOU SO MUCH for accepting reservations for less than a full week as we were only able to stay 4 nights.

As always, R & R Resort is the only place for us on AMI. I have begun to hesitate openly offering to folks where we stay because we selfishly want to keep the secret (albeit not a secret any longer) under wraps. Thank you Ty and Suzette. 🙂

My parents stayed at this resort to celebrate their anniversary and birthday. We did not personally stay here, but we called and spoke with Suzette, the owner, to arrange a little welcome gift for them. She went above and beyond, to personally go to a local restaurant to pick up a bottle of wine, a gift card, and a card for them. She even included a complimentary gift. If that wasn't enough, she emailed us a photo of the gift set up for them in the room. Suzette was lovely and pleasant to work with and went above and beyond to help us make our parents stay memorable. We couldn't thank her enough.
