World Class Experience! The whole resort was spotless and clean from rooms to pool. The LED night lighting on the premises were beautiful and mood setting! The private beach was beautiful and full of sea life. We got to swim momentarily with two manatees and were in the area of a couple of porpoises. The staff were Excellent and delivered on everything as promised. Always had clean towels, toiletries and coffee! My Experience was so memorable that I booked another week with the Rod and Reel Resort for the first week of December 2021! I guarantee you won't want to leave once you get there!

If you are looking for beautiful accommodations on the beach in one of the most beautiful places in Florida, we would highly recommend The Rod and Reel Resort, Anna Maria Island. This is our third visit to The Rod and Reel Resort and we are looking to book again in the near future. Thank you to all staff and the owners for providing such a peaceful retreat. Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the rod and reel resort but I do have a few comments that could have improved our stay. First, let me thank Ty for his prompt service to all of our needs. My first comment is that the set up of the bedrooms was not clear in the description...we did not realize we had to walk through the first bedroom to get to the 2nd bedroom....awkward for 2 couples as opposed to a family. Next...the king size bedroom needed some hooks or "over the door" hangers so we could hang bathrobes or other articles of clothing. We had no closet so it was difficult to keep the room neat. We definitely enjoyed having the facilities to cook a few meals but were lacking simple utensils and potholders. Also, the throw rug in the living room needed to be cleaned or replaced. A few simple things would have made your rating a 5. The pool, hot tub, and grounds ...including the concrete ping pong table were great!! A little TLC to the bicycles like new handles and a good cleaning of the seats was greatly needed. It was great to have beach chairs, kayaks, and paddle boards to enjoy and the location is superb.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! This resort is beautiful, well managed, and on the most beautiful part of the island. Suite 8 was spectacular with a beautiful private deck overlooking the bay, the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, and the Rod & Reel Pier. Bikes, kayaks, and paddle boards are all included with your stay. Relax, bike, fish, walk to Bean Point, and enjoy amazing restaurants. IT IS PERFECT!
