Just returning back to reality after a week long stay at Rod and Reel Resort. In short, our stay was exceptional. We traveled with our young kids and the resort was absolutely perfect for a family vacation. The grounds are pristine--both from a cleanliness and aesthetic point of view. The rooms had just what we needed for a comfortable week--the bunk bed room was a bonus to setup the kids in while the main area could accommodate tv watching later into the evening. We were worried the kitchen was not a 'full size' kitchen, but it worked perfectly. The fridge was much large than expected and there was ample storage. We used the kayaks daily and appreciated not having to go through the hassle of a rental company. One small thing we appreciated the most---clean, new beach towels to use daily! Rod and Reel truly made everything so easy. Ty was incredibly personable and helpful, answering our many questions and going out of his way to check in on each guest's stay. We cannot wait to return, as this is certain to be a favorite vacation spot for our family.

This was our first time to Anna Maria and the resort made our experience absolutely amazing. Ty (property manager) was very heplful with any questions or concerns we had. The owner is very responsive. Cant say enough about the location and amenities. Room was great for our family of 5! Great sunrises and sunsets. Took the kayaks out to watch sunset over bean point. Beach toys, paddleboards, bikes, hot tub, ping pong and pool were a big hit with our kids. Great food at the rod and reel restaurant. Whats not to love about this place!!!! Book it and you wont regret it!

We traveled to Anna Maria Island for the first time this year and brought 2 (4,7) of our 3 kids. Stayed 5 nights in Suite 3 and can not say enough good things about this place. The concept of just 8 suites was really neat and we enjoyed resort life without all craze of resort size. There was never a rush to grab a seat at the pool/bar area and we got to meet some really cool families that were also staying there. Everyone respects the resort and treats the place like a one big shared home. There are plenty of kayaks, paddle boards, pool floats & chairs for guests and from what we experienced, everyone is willing to share even their own pool & beach toys. We left everything we bought at the pool for the next family to use because we loved that idea. Ty is the property manager and does a great job making sure everyone is taken care of. Suzette the owner was a gem to work with and I was understanding of anything we asked of her and did her best to accommodate. The location is a short walk and even shorter drive to the beautiful Bean Point Beach. Dining and shops are just a couple miles away and can be easily accessed by foot, bike or car. I recommend dining at the Waterfront, which is just down the street and if you're looking for some great lunch, check out the Rod & Reel pier. If you're planning on grabbing a couple cocktails too, the bar downstairs has prices you wouldn't believe. We also had a blast renting a couple poles from said Pier and did a little fishing with kids. We'll definitely be back with the whole family!

We had the best time,Ty was very accommodating,even though has no refridg,or micro w.we were not aware of that prior to our arrival.We made the best of it.We need a unit with those amenities !

If you have the opportunity to reserve your stay at The Rod & Reel Resort, do it! You will have had made the best decision. This place is CLEAN. Sparkling clean in fact. We were fortunate enough to go on a weekend when we shared the resort with a handful of people, so the pool/beach/deck were basically ours. Where else can you get that? The guests sharing the resort were all friendly, kind and courteous. The place is lush, beautiful, and modern. Top of the line. Cannot wait to return!
