My now-husband and I rented the entire resort for our family and friends to stay with us for the destination wedding of our dreams! We had our wedding reception back at the resort and it worked out perfectly. The whole week was incredibly relaxing and perfect for what we were trying to accomplish. We stayed in suite 8 and used it as the main gathering place due to the large amount of space in the kitchen/living room. Can't beat those views, either! It was so great that everyone was together but had their own space, too. The kids were in the pool from sun up to sundown almost every day! We are already trying to find a way to bring everyone back for another long stay. We can't recommend the Rod and Reel enough for giving us the best place to start our new lives together!

From the minute we walked in, we felt an instant fix. Greeted immediately by the resort's finest; Manager, Ty Hicks! "Your room is ready early, there's no need to go and roam. What's ours, for sure, is yours, please make yourself at home!" Suite #2 was clean as can be, the absolute best we do guarantee. Each thing was arranged so nicely, the interior decorated so precisely. The sun chairs by the pool were great, we made friends from many states. We loved laying in the sand and experienced the rooftop deck firsthand. We rode the bikes every day, paddle boarded and kayaked in the Bay. Many meals were cooked right there, thanks to the grill that we could share. At night, we walked to the Pier to have our $1.50 beer! Suzette, your place is Heaven on earth, we will return that is for sure!

We had the luxury of spending 3 weeks at Rod & Reel Resort. We originally were booked for 2 weeks but we were having such a wonderful time we extended it a week! Ty and Tanya and all the staff are wonderful to work with. Our stay felt like home away from home. We loved it so much we are booking for 2021!

We traveled to Anna Maria Island for the first time this year and brought 2 (4,7) of our 3 kids. Stayed 5 nights in Suite 3 and can not say enough good things about this place. The concept of just 8 suites was really neat and we enjoyed resort life without all craze of resort size. There was never a rush to grab a seat at the pool/bar area and we got to meet some really cool families that were also staying there. Everyone respects the resort and treats the place like a one big shared home. There are plenty of kayaks, paddle boards, pool floats & chairs for guests and from what we experienced, everyone is willing to share even their own pool & beach toys. We left everything we bought at the pool for the next family to use because we loved that idea. Ty is the property manager and does a great job making sure everyone is taken care of. Suzette the owner was a gem to work with and I was understanding of anything we asked of her and did her best to accommodate. The location is a short walk and even shorter drive to the beautiful Bean Point Beach. Dining and shops are just a couple miles away and can be easily accessed by foot, bike or car. I recommend dining at the Waterfront, which is just down the street and if you're looking for some great lunch, check out the Rod & Reel pier. If you're planning on grabbing a couple cocktails too, the bar downstairs has prices you wouldn't believe. We also had a blast renting a couple poles from said Pier and did a little fishing with kids. We'll definitely be back with the whole family!

Just spent Xmas week here & had wonderful time! Perfect location on beautiful beach. Includes paddle boards, kayaks, (very) heated pool, modern room and attentive service. Can’t wait to go back!
