Another amazing stay at The Rod and Reel Resort. Thank you to Suzette and Ty for their exceptional service. Looking forward to returning again soon!

We brought our three sons, their wives and their kids and used suites 1, 2, 3 and 8. There could not have been a better place for us to enjoy a family vacation. Everything Suzette told us about the resort was true. The rooms were great. Suite 8 easily fit the 12 of us and was continuously used. The grandkids would come in and wake us up leaving their parents to sleep a little more. The hot tub and pool were perfect. We used every toy in the place, especially the kayaks and many of us got up close and personal with the dolphins who swam by every morning and sometimes could be seen feeding just beyond the pier. The dolphins were the highlight. The restaurants in the area were great. We walked around the point when we wanted wind and waves, and stayed on our beach when we wanted quiet. Our only suggestions is to put up more hooks in the bathroom in suite 8. And it says so much about the people in the resort when the kids left a day early and we were refunded those nights after they filled with new people. That was not expected. We will be back. A significant added bonus is that the resort allows for COVID safety and it turned out that everyone was vaccinated which was even better. Thank you.

We have stayed at Anna Maria many times, however, always in a vacation rental home with a private pool for a week. This stay was going to be short and our first stop of a few during the week so renting a house didn't make sense. Not willing to give up the north end, we chose The Rod and Reel Resort. To be honest, we are not "resort people". What a pleasant surprise! We were immediately impressed! Suite 6 was perfect and the amenities couldn't be beat. We used every single one. When we plan our next trip to the island, it will be a tough decision to chose a house or return to The Rod and Reel Resort. Ty is fantastic. No request was too much. He delivered every single time. The hot tub was not working our first night and we let him know. A repairman was there the next morning. You can't go wrong with a stay at The Rod and Reel Resort! Thanks for the memories!

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the rod and reel resort but I do have a few comments that could have improved our stay. First, let me thank Ty for his prompt service to all of our needs. My first comment is that the set up of the bedrooms was not clear in the description...we did not realize we had to walk through the first bedroom to get to the 2nd bedroom....awkward for 2 couples as opposed to a family. Next...the king size bedroom needed some hooks or "over the door" hangers so we could hang bathrobes or other articles of clothing. We had no closet so it was difficult to keep the room neat. We definitely enjoyed having the facilities to cook a few meals but were lacking simple utensils and potholders. Also, the throw rug in the living room needed to be cleaned or replaced. A few simple things would have made your rating a 5. The pool, hot tub, and grounds ...including the concrete ping pong table were great!! A little TLC to the bicycles like new handles and a good cleaning of the seats was greatly needed. It was great to have beach chairs, kayaks, and paddle boards to enjoy and the location is superb.

If you have the opportunity to reserve your stay at The Rod & Reel Resort, do it! You will have had made the best decision. This place is CLEAN. Sparkling clean in fact. We were fortunate enough to go on a weekend when we shared the resort with a handful of people, so the pool/beach/deck were basically ours. Where else can you get that? The guests sharing the resort were all friendly, kind and courteous. The place is lush, beautiful, and modern. Top of the line. Cannot wait to return!
