The old Rod & Reel was great! But the new Rod &Reel, was all around beautiful, unbelievably outstanding!! The property manager, Ty! We never had experienced that warm & incredible hospitality! Amazing!

We took a risk and booked a family vacation on an Island and at a resort we had never heard of before! We were more than pleasantly surprised with it all - everything is better than the pictures and the Rod & Reel Resort is outstanding!! The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and the staff is great. The amenities are more than enough to keep our family of 4 busy all day! If you want to feel like you are in the Caribbean with a private 5 star resort this is the place for you! We loved everything but a few highlights were kayaking (with dolphins), paddle-boarding, biking around the island, eating and fishing at the pier and of course relaxing on our own white sand beach. The sunsets are to die for!!! We can't wait to come back!!! Thank you!!!

We brought our three sons, their wives and their kids and used suites 1, 2, 3 and 8. There could not have been a better place for us to enjoy a family vacation. Everything Suzette told us about the resort was true. The rooms were great. Suite 8 easily fit the 12 of us and was continuously used. The grandkids would come in and wake us up leaving their parents to sleep a little more. The hot tub and pool were perfect. We used every toy in the place, especially the kayaks and many of us got up close and personal with the dolphins who swam by every morning and sometimes could be seen feeding just beyond the pier. The dolphins were the highlight. The restaurants in the area were great. We walked around the point when we wanted wind and waves, and stayed on our beach when we wanted quiet. Our only suggestions is to put up more hooks in the bathroom in suite 8. And it says so much about the people in the resort when the kids left a day early and we were refunded those nights after they filled with new people. That was not expected. We will be back. A significant added bonus is that the resort allows for COVID safety and it turned out that everyone was vaccinated which was even better. Thank you.

LOVE THIS PLACE. We had a fabulous stay (again) even though there was wind and rain with the approaching hurricane ----still felt like we were in paradise! We rode bikes, paddle boarded, kayaked, played ping pong and corn home. Pool and hot tub are wonderful and the landscaping is beautiful. Staff members great. My favorite spot is the covered comfy seating with perfect ocean views. Cannot wait to come for a third visit!! THANK YOU SO MUCH for accepting reservations for less than a full week as we were only able to stay 4 nights.

My Husband & I were asked to join a group of friends last June and we almost had the entire resort for our group alone. One couple in the group has stayed many times and the rest of us were new to this paradise. I fell in love viewing the suites on the website and I immediately contacted Suzette to book. She is just a breath of fresh air to work with. Very sweet, pleasant & patient with my thousand questions as my Husband would say LOL. She will do everything she can to accommodate and is very thorough in covering every detail needed from arrival, during your stay and the check out process. When she said she would be emailing all the confirmation details over that we discussed, she definitely wasn't kidding. Everything there on one page and I was so thankful. Upon our arrival we were greeted with a big friendly smile from Ty who happened to be out front when our car dropped us off. You definitely need to say hello if you see him around the property. He goes above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. Our suite was bigger than what we needed but it worked out perfect. It was decorated so bright, everything so nice, very clean which is always a worry. We will be coming back in 2023 to celebrate our 50th Birthday's and are so looking forward to sharing this amazing resort with our Family & Friends. No place we would rather go to celebrate but RRR.
