LOVE THIS PLACE. We had a fabulous stay (again) even though there was wind and rain with the approaching hurricane ----still felt like we were in paradise! We rode bikes, paddle boarded, kayaked, played ping pong and corn home. Pool and hot tub are wonderful and the landscaping is beautiful. Staff members great. My favorite spot is the covered comfy seating with perfect ocean views. Cannot wait to come for a third visit!! THANK YOU SO MUCH for accepting reservations for less than a full week as we were only able to stay 4 nights.

This was our third stay in Suite 8 and it was wonderful, as usual. The kitchen and deck are incredible - we spend a lot of time on the expansive deck which is just feet from the water. The pool is great and is colorfully lit at night. The other guests have been extremely friendly and easy to talk with. We use the bikes to ride all over and enjoy the kayaks. I may try to paddle board next time.
The Rod and Reel Pier is steps away and we spend time over there every day, watching the fishing and eating upstairs.
We've booked two more stays over the winter and can't wait to go back.

From the minute we walked in, we felt an instant fix. Greeted immediately by the resort's finest; Manager, Ty Hicks!
"Your room is ready early, there's no need to go and roam.
What's ours, for sure, is yours, please make yourself at home!" Suite #2 was clean as can be, the absolute best we do guarantee. Each thing was arranged so nicely, the interior decorated so precisely. The sun chairs by the pool were great, we made friends from many states. We loved laying in the sand and experienced the rooftop deck firsthand. We rode the bikes every day, paddle boarded and kayaked in the Bay. Many meals were cooked right there, thanks to the grill that we could share. At night, we walked to the Pier to have our $1.50 beer! Suzette, your place is Heaven on earth, we will return that is for sure!

What a small piece of heaven the R&RR is! This was our second trip to AMI, first time staying on the Bay side, and we were not disappointed. We loved the property, spacious enough for all the families staying on site and cleverly designed with little pockets of space to privately enjoy the amazing scenery. Used the paddleboards and kayaks, and of course the beautiful pool and hot tub. A quick and easy walk to Bean Point is a must while you are visiting. Just beautiful. Will definitely return!

We have stayed at Anna Maria many times, however, always in a vacation rental home with a private pool for a week. This stay was going to be short and our first stop of a few during the week so renting a house didn't make sense. Not willing to give up the north end, we chose The Rod and Reel Resort. To be honest, we are not "resort people". What a pleasant surprise! We were immediately impressed! Suite 6 was perfect and the amenities couldn't be beat. We used every single one. When we plan our next trip to the island, it will be a tough decision to chose a house or return to The Rod and Reel Resort. Ty is fantastic. No request was too much. He delivered every single time. The hot tub was not working our first night and we let him know. A repairman was there the next morning. You can't go wrong with a stay at The Rod and Reel Resort! Thanks for the memories!
