Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the rod and reel resort but I do have a few comments that could have improved our stay. First, let me thank Ty for his prompt service to all of our needs. My first comment is that the set up of the bedrooms was not clear in the description...we did not realize we had to walk through the first bedroom to get to the 2nd bedroom....awkward for 2 couples as opposed to a family. Next...the king size bedroom needed some hooks or "over the door" hangers so we could hang bathrobes or other articles of clothing. We had no closet so it was difficult to keep the room neat. We definitely enjoyed having the facilities to cook a few meals but were lacking simple utensils and potholders. Also, the throw rug in the living room needed to be cleaned or replaced. A few simple things would have made your rating a 5. The pool, hot tub, and grounds ...including the concrete ping pong table were great!! A little TLC to the bicycles like new handles and a good cleaning of the seats was greatly needed. It was great to have beach chairs, kayaks, and paddle boards to enjoy and the location is superb.

My Husband & I were asked to join a group of friends last June and we almost had the entire resort for our group alone. One couple in the group has stayed many times and the rest of us were new to this paradise. I fell in love viewing the suites on the website and I immediately contacted Suzette to book. She is just a breath of fresh air to work with. Very sweet, pleasant & patient with my thousand questions as my Husband would say LOL. She will do everything she can to accommodate and is very thorough in covering every detail needed from arrival, during your stay and the check out process. When she said she would be emailing all the confirmation details over that we discussed, she definitely wasn't kidding. Everything there on one page and I was so thankful. Upon our arrival we were greeted with a big friendly smile from Ty who happened to be out front when our car dropped us off. You definitely need to say hello if you see him around the property. He goes above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. Our suite was bigger than what we needed but it worked out perfect. It was decorated so bright, everything so nice, very clean which is always a worry. We will be coming back in 2023 to celebrate our 50th Birthday's and are so looking forward to sharing this amazing resort with our Family & Friends. No place we would rather go to celebrate but RRR. This resort is a very secure resort. Very private. You need a code to enter so no one from the street can just walk in. The rooms were very modern and very lovely decorated. The kitchenette was perfect for eating in. The beds were very comfortable and the unit was very spacious for 4. Suzette, the owner, was very nice and easy to work with. The staff at the resort was very kind and helpful. The Rod & Reel Pier and Restaurant was so convenient. I can't wait to go back.

This was our first time to Anna Maria and the resort made our experience absolutely amazing. Ty (property manager) was very heplful with any questions or concerns we had. The owner is very responsive. Cant say enough about the location and amenities. Room was great for our family of 5! Great sunrises and sunsets. Took the kayaks out to watch sunset over bean point. Beach toys, paddleboards, bikes, hot tub, ping pong and pool were a big hit with our kids. Great food at the rod and reel restaurant. Whats not to love about this place!!!! Book it and you wont regret it!

Just returning back to reality after a week long stay at Rod and Reel Resort. In short, our stay was exceptional. We traveled with our young kids and the resort was absolutely perfect for a family vacation. The grounds are pristine--both from a cleanliness and aesthetic point of view. The rooms had just what we needed for a comfortable week--the bunk bed room was a bonus to setup the kids in while the main area could accommodate tv watching later into the evening. We were worried the kitchen was not a 'full size' kitchen, but it worked perfectly. The fridge was much large than expected and there was ample storage. We used the kayaks daily and appreciated not having to go through the hassle of a rental company. One small thing we appreciated the most---clean, new beach towels to use daily! Rod and Reel truly made everything so easy. Ty was incredibly personable and helpful, answering our many questions and going out of his way to check in on each guest's stay. We cannot wait to return, as this is certain to be a favorite vacation spot for our family.
