We stayed for a week and had the best experience ever on Anna Maria Island...they give you lots of options and amenities which makes for a wonderful time...I can say this because we have stayed at other places on the island over the years but nothing compares to the rod and reel resort,,,planning on going back this year

LOVE THIS PLACE. We had a fabulous stay (again) even though there was wind and rain with the approaching hurricane ----still felt like we were in paradise! We rode bikes, paddle boarded, kayaked, played ping pong and corn home. Pool and hot tub are wonderful and the landscaping is beautiful. Staff members great. My favorite spot is the covered comfy seating with perfect ocean views. Cannot wait to come for a third visit!! THANK YOU SO MUCH for accepting reservations for less than a full week as we were only able to stay 4 nights.

We love the Rod and Reel , our favorite private resort for our little family. Rooms are very clean and I am OCD So I am tough when comes to cleaning, But most important the staff are very respectful and wonderful host, treating you always with love. Location is great just a short walk to the best beach in South Florida so you don’t have to deal with parking in Ana Maria. I will stay every week there if possible :)

This was our first trip to Rod and Reel Resort and Anna Maria Island. We could not be happier with our stay at the resort. Everything is first class, with only 8 rooms is it such a relaxing and quiet place. The Resort Manager, Ty, was great! Very personable and always helpful when we asked questions or needed anything. Wow ! What a great spot to escape the world. Suzette did an exceptional job with the décor in each room. The attention to detail on the grounds and rooms is well done. Everything is exceptionally clean and well kept. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The bed was extremely comfy. With cooking options in your room and on site BBQ’s you do not even have to leave if you do not want to. The pool and spa area is spacious and inviting. The beach is white sand and excellent for swimming and beachcombing. Lots of sea life we were fortunate to see Manatees, Rays, Dolphins and a wide variety of other fish. The on site bikes get you over to Bean Point (Amazing Sunsets) in minutes or down to Pine avenue to the General Store for snacks treats and libations. The intimacy of the resort lets you get to know other travelers staying as well. The group staying at the same time were great and we shared many drinks and dinners. Also lots of dining options close by. Oops almost forgot on site Kayaks, paddle boards and ping pong for use any time. Highly recommend this resort!! Cheers !
