We are so lucky we found this gem of a property! Our kids LOVE the beach and this resort was absolutely perfect! The room and entire place was super clean and the kids loved the huge pool! The rod and reel pier was very convenient-we didn’t even have to leave the entire weekend nor did we want to! We met Ty who was was super nice and helpful answering all our questions in between keeping the beach and grounds clean. We will definitely be back as we have already been searching our calendars for dates for our next beach trip to Rod and Reel Resort! Thank you so much!

The Rod and Reel is one of my favorite places to stay! The rooms are super clean and the property is beautiful. The staff is very responsive and accommodating. It's the best of both worlds, fishing on the Bayside of the property and a quick walk to the beautiful beach. I actually stayed two weeks prior to this visit, with a friend, and had to come back and bring my kids. The kids loved the use of the bikes, kayaks and pool. Can't wait to return!!

The old Rod & Reel was great! But the new Rod &Reel, was all around beautiful, unbelievably outstanding!! The property manager, Ty! We never had experienced that warm & incredible hospitality! Amazing!

This was our 4th stay in Suite 8 and we're going back again later this month, and are planning to return next year. The Rod & Reel Resort is incredible - beautiful, quiet, relaxing, so close to the water and next to the entertaining Rod & Reel Pier. It's nice to have bikes, kayaks and paddle boards included to avoid the hassle of renting them from elsewhere. They even have beach toys onsite for the kids.
We've met so many friendly guests from all over the US at this small, intimate 8 room resort. We wholeheartedly recommend staying here whether with family, friends or just as a couple.

We stayed in Suite 8 and it is gorgeous! The view from inside or on the deck was perfect, even better than it looked online. The resort is terrific - beautiful, very private and quiet. My brother and sister in law have been wintering in Florida for 20+ years and were impressed with the Rod and Reel. The finishes are superior and the beach is right outside the gate, the pool was beautifully lit at night, the kayaks were fun and we rode the bikes to restaurants and all over the island. The pool and hot tub were spotless and refreshing.
The Rod and Reel Pier next door had good food and was so entertaining with people fishing all day long. We gravitated to it daily.
Suzette was terrific to deal with and Ty & Tanya took great care of us and kept the resort in order, from providing whatever we needed to even raking the beach every day.
Anna Maria has loads of great restaurants and is very scenic. It's easy to walk to many places, too.
We're coming back to Suite 8 at the Rod and Reel next February.
