My Husband & I were asked to join a group of friends last June and we almost had the entire resort for our group alone. One couple in the group has stayed many times and the rest of us were new to this paradise. I fell in love viewing the suites on the website and I immediately contacted Suzette to book. She is just a breath of fresh air to work with. Very sweet, pleasant & patient with my thousand questions as my Husband would say LOL. She will do everything she can to accommodate and is very thorough in covering every detail needed from arrival, during your stay and the check out process. When she said she would be emailing all the confirmation details over that we discussed, she definitely wasn't kidding. Everything there on one page and I was so thankful. Upon our arrival we were greeted with a big friendly smile from Ty who happened to be out front when our car dropped us off. You definitely need to say hello if you see him around the property. He goes above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. Our suite was bigger than what we needed but it worked out perfect. It was decorated so bright, everything so nice, very clean which is always a worry. We will be coming back in 2023 to celebrate our 50th Birthday's and are so looking forward to sharing this amazing resort with our Family & Friends. No place we would rather go to celebrate but RRR. We have stayed at Anna Maria many times, however, always in a vacation rental home with a private pool for a week. This stay was going to be short and our first stop of a few during the week so renting a house didn't make sense. Not willing to give up the north end, we chose The Rod and Reel Resort. To be honest, we are not "resort people". What a pleasant surprise! We were immediately impressed! Suite 6 was perfect and the amenities couldn't be beat. We used every single one. When we plan our next trip to the island, it will be a tough decision to chose a house or return to The Rod and Reel Resort. Ty is fantastic. No request was too much. He delivered every single time. The hot tub was not working our first night and we let him know. A repairman was there the next morning. You can't go wrong with a stay at The Rod and Reel Resort! Thanks for the memories!

We stayed for a week and had the best experience ever on Anna Maria Island...they give you lots of options and amenities which makes for a wonderful time...I can say this because we have stayed at other places on the island over the years but nothing compares to the rod and reel resort,,,planning on going back this year

Can't say enough about how great our time at Rod and Reel Resort was. Ty Hicks, the property manager, was there to make sure that every need you had was taken care of. The property was pristine. The pool. the hot tub, the beach front right out your front door made for a wonderful experience. We intend to be back next year for another two weeks. Can't wait!

The Rod and Reel Resort is an amazing resort that is both simple and uniquely private. We enjoyed our stay. Suzette was great to work with and very good with her communication. We like that the resort is small and has a private feel. We also liked how the bikes and paddle boards were basically serve yourself with no hassle to use whenever we wanted. We will stay here again and recommend the resort to friends as well. It is the perfect little hide away on Anna Marie Island
