This place was absolutely amazing! The manager was super cool, very talkative, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We showed up early and he let us check into our room early. The property was a dream, so relaxing, and made you feel like you were in the Caribbean. Lots of perks with the property like the kayaks and paddle boards. was nice interacting with the other guests and sharing some good times. I really did not want to leave! I will for sure be re-visiting this place very soon!

We stayed in Suite 8 and it is gorgeous! The view from inside or on the deck was perfect, even better than it looked online. The resort is terrific - beautiful, very private and quiet. My brother and sister in law have been wintering in Florida for 20+ years and were impressed with the Rod and Reel. The finishes are superior and the beach is right outside the gate, the pool was beautifully lit at night, the kayaks were fun and we rode the bikes to restaurants and all over the island. The pool and hot tub were spotless and refreshing.
The Rod and Reel Pier next door had good food and was so entertaining with people fishing all day long. We gravitated to it daily.
Suzette was terrific to deal with and Ty & Tanya took great care of us and kept the resort in order, from providing whatever we needed to even raking the beach every day.
Anna Maria has loads of great restaurants and is very scenic. It's easy to walk to many places, too.
We're coming back to Suite 8 at the Rod and Reel next February.

Just spent Xmas week here & had wonderful time! Perfect location on beautiful beach. Includes paddle boards, kayaks, (very) heated pool, modern room and attentive service. Can’t wait to go back!

World Class Experience! The whole resort was spotless and clean from rooms to pool. The LED night lighting on the premises were beautiful and mood setting! The private beach was beautiful and full of sea life. We got to swim momentarily with two manatees and were in the area of a couple of porpoises. The staff were Excellent and delivered on everything as promised. Always had clean towels, toiletries and coffee! My Experience was so memorable that I booked another week with the Rod and Reel Resort for the first week of December 2021! I guarantee you won't want to leave once you get there!
