Reservations

SHORT STAYS: Yes! Book on the 30-day OPEN Calendar for long weekends and last-minute getaways! Check the on-line Availability Calendar to see what is OPEN today!

SA-SA WEEKLY: The resort accepts full weekly Suite reservations at any time and will reserve your favorite selection up to 2 years in advance!

BLOCK-OUT DATES: We reserve certain times of the year for our large event group clients and if you would like these dates and can reserve 4+ rooms we will open that week just for you! Blocked dates open at least 3 months prior to your arrival date and if you would like the first opportunity for a particular selection, we are happy to place you on our “PRIORITY GUEST” list.

FULL RESORT RESERVATIONS: We are the premier island large group venue and can accommodate 30+ guests in our 8 beautiful Suites. There is NO premium to have an exclusive resort for your family or event group in the BEST location Anna Maria has to offer and with all-inclusive amenities waiting on site! We make it easy and can book your family, team, or friend group individually to simplify your planning and coordination.

EXCEPTIONS – ALL THE TIME!: Call or email us using the contact form and we will do our best to accommodate you!

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT TIME: The resort is a very popular destination and operates at or near full occupancy throughout the year. Guests may arrive no earlier than 4pm on their day of arrival and departure is promptly at 10am to allow our staff adequate time to prepare for the next guests. If the calendar allows for an early or late option, please give us a call to inquire as we approach your reservation date and we will do our best to accommodate you!

FACILITIES FOR GUESTS WITH DISABILITIES: The Rod and Reel Resort has NO wheelchair accessible rooms. Guests requiring special accessibility may find certain elements of the common areas such as the lobby, office, community room, and pool area accommodating. For additional information, please direct your questions about accessible features and services to the Front Desk to ensure your requests are handled properly. 

Payments

SUITE RESERVATIONS: To reserve your special island getaway a payment of 50% of your balance is due at the time of booking and a final payment of 50% is due 60 days prior to your arrival date.

FULL RESORT RESERVATIONS: To reserve your special group island getaway a payment of 50% of your balance is due at the time of booking and a final payment of 50% is due 90 days prior to your arrival date. All full resort reservations require a refundable $750.00 security deposit. If you would like to hold an event at the resort, additional fees based on headcount and services will apply.

Cancellation Policy

SUITE RESERVATIONS: A $250 non-refundable payment is incurred for all cancellations. In addition any reservation cancelled prior to 60 days is eligible for a full refund (less the $250 non-refundable payment). Reservations canceled between 21 and 60 days are subject to an additional 25% penalty. If your reservation is cancelled under 21 days of arrival, there is no refund eligibility.  

FULL RESORT RESERVATIONS: A $2,000 payment is incurred for all cancellations. If your reservation is canceled within 6 months of arrival, your refund is subject to The Rod and Reel Resort’s ability to re-rent the accommodation at the price contracted at the time of booking. If your reservation is rebooked (partially or fully), we will issue a refund in the amount we were able to rebook it for, minus the $2,000 cancellation fee.

Resort Rules and Guideline

SMOKING POLICY: There is NO smoking inside your accommodations or on our premises. The resort is a completely non-smoking property which is strictly enforced. Guests who care to smoke will find convenient nearby locations on the beach, pier, or public parking lot.

PET POLICY: The resort is a pet-free property for the health and safety of all our clientele. There are animal restrictions on Anna Maria Island and all public beaches.

GUEST POLICY: The resort and amenities are for the exclusive use of our registered guests who are listed on your Rental Agreement. We are a relaxing and private destination and non-registered guests are allowed on-site with prior approval. Guest visitors may not use resort amenities which impacts the availability and experience of other registered guests and for liability purposes. We do not accept reservations from persons under 25 years of age.

NOISE ORDINANCE: The City of Anna Maria has a strictly enforced Noise Ordinance that is in effect daily after 10pm. This ordinance pertains to loud music or loud sounds coming from the property after this hour. If a complaint is issued, management reserves the right to terminate your stay.

SMS Terms of Service

  • When you opt-in to the service, we will send you an SMS message from (941) 281-1150 to confirm your signup.
  • This service is used to send you notifications about your reservation, including payment reminders, checkin/checkout instructions and property entry codes.
  • You can cancel this service at any time. Just text “STOP” to (941) 281-1150. After you send the message “STOP” to us, we will send you a reply message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive messages from us. If you want to join again, text "START" to the same number and we will start sending messages to you again.
  • If at any time you forget what keywords are supported, just text “HELP” to (941) 281-1150. After you send the message “HELP” to us, we will respond with instructions on how to use our service as well as how to unsubscribe.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varries. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
